Kelsey-Seybold Doctors Made Headlines in September

Sept. 7: Dr. Jessica Lanerie, Chief of Pediatrics, Sienna Clinic, spoke with FOX 26 about mental health of children. She discussed how they are dealing with the return to in-person schooling, ways parents can help, and when to seek assistance from a pediatrician if a child has issues adjusting.

Sept. 8: Dr. Shane Magee, Internal Medicine, Tanglewood Clinic, spoke with KHOU about common treatments for COVID-19 and if ivermectin is an approved treatment option.

Sept. 9: Dr. Melanie Mouzoon, Managing Physician for Immunization Practices, Woman’s Center, spoke to FOX 26 about the COVID-19 booster shots and answered viewer questions regarding the booster.

Sept. 20: Dr. Mouzoon spoke to NBC about the possibility of kids under 12 getting the COVID-19 vaccine and when she thinks it could become available.

Sept: 23: Dr. Christine Le, Family Medicine, Tanglewood Clinic, spoke to FOX 26 about a recent salmonella outbreak across the country. She explained what symptoms are associated with salmonella and the treatment options.
