Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – South Shore staff and League City dignitaries held a ceremonial ribbon cutting on April 19 to mark the opening of our South Shore Clinic.
A convenient location in the South Bay Professional Center has resulted in many walk-in patients, said Lynette Vidal, South Shore Clinic Administrator.
“It has been a smooth first couple of months,” Lynette said. “It was exciting to have Chamber of Commerce representatives and members of the League City Council here to see the clinic for the first time.”

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – South Shore opened under the Kelsey-Seybold name in February 2022 and provides convenient primary care services for adults and children.
The ribbon cutting included gifts from the League City Chamber of Commerce and remarks by Chamber President Dewan Clayborn.
As League City grows, Dewan is excited to see more healthcare options for city residents.
“I’m looking forward to Kelsey-Seybold bringing more value to this community,” Dewan said. “We need to have more healthcare resources and more quality business opportunities in our fast-growing city.”
South Shore Clinic Managing Physician Benafsha Irani, DO, is happy the new clinic has quickly become part of this growing community.
“Every week we see a steady stream of new patients. Our staff has adjusted as well, and it really feels like a family,” Dr. Irani said. “It’s exciting to have the Chamber come out to recognize our opening – we are all so happy to be serving the people of League City.”
