River Oaks Grand Opening Day

On Sept. 7, Kelsey-Seybold celebrated the much-anticipated opening of its River Oaks Clinic. Patients and nearby residents now have a convenient clinic offering comprehensive care for adults of all ages. The new 12,500-square-foot clinic is located at 2040 West Gray St., Suites 120 and 200, at the corner of S. Shepherd Drive in the historic River Oaks Shopping Center.

Terry Kite, first patient of the day at River Oaks Clinic, was excited to have the convenience of the clinic, as she lives close enough to walk to it.

“This is such a great addition to the area,” she said. “There aren’t many convenient doctors’ offices nearby.”

Opening our doors and connecting with the community

The new clinic expands access to coordinated, evidence-based care for patients in the River Oaks, Montrose, and Lower Heights communities who value quality and convenience.

Clinic Administrator Precious Knighton said she is excited to see all the hard work everyone has contributed to making this clinic come together. “I can’t believe opening day is finally here,” she said. “It really is such a beautiful clinic with the interior design elements and artwork – I feel like patients will enjoy coming to this space for their care and our staff will be proud to welcome them.”

Managing Physician Cecilia Lowder, M.D., wants patients to feel at home when they come into this new clinic. “Being so close to nearby neighborhoods, and in the heart of this community, I believe that we are poised for great success in our new River Oaks Clinic.”
