Summer Creek Clinic staff proudly volunteers their time to serve The Ronald McDonald House

In September, Summer Creek Clinic providers and staff had the pleasure of providing and serving dinner to families staying at Ronald McDonald Holcombe House. The local nonprofit that provides a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for cancer recently reinstated its volunteer program after the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing organizations like ours to lend a helping hand.

“It was an honor and privilege for our Summer Creek providers and staff to offer support to these families, even in this small way,” said Alvin Payne, Clinic Administrator IV, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Summer Creek. “During the visit, we were able to feed over 70 families, a total of 135 people, and got to spend some very special quality time dancing and playing games with the children.”
